Thirty-three runners had a great time running or hiking the trails for the re-incarnated Tenderfoot Boogie on June 24th, honouring the legacy of founder Gottfried Grosser. Hosted by Club Fat Ass, the start and finish were at Cal-Cheak recreation site. Distances were 15, 28, and 50k, with a few custom distances done by a few. We had a bit of rain, but most agreed it was pleasantly cooling rather than uncomfortable. Trains, bears, flowers, waterfalls, bridges, mountains, rivers, pastries, adventure, runnable trails, a few wrong turns, and friendly fellow runners were all noted as defining the route.
